A Netwire (or Net-Wire) is a common hardware device to facilitate Net connectivity in other devices.
Net-Wires are as common as P-Comms in 2280, and in fact, most P-Comms have Net-Wire capability built-in. Net-Wires provide any connected device with access to the Net. All Net-Wires encrypt their Net communications, ensuring maximum privacy. Individuals can purchase additional Net-wires for new or custom devices, or for security reasons.
